The Just Brooklyn Prize

Launched in 2023, The Just Brooklyn Prize recognizes the contributions and achievements of BIPOC (Black, Indigenous, and People of Color) leaders dedicated to uplifting Brooklyn communities. The Brooklyn Community Foundation and The Social Justice Fund sponsor this award, highlighting the resilience, spirit, and community impact of Brooklyn's BIPOC changemakers.

Viney was responsible for establishing a memorable visual brand for the prize, designing elements for the first awards ceremony, and producing videos that showcased the journeys of the awardees.

The branding effectively conveyed its importance, making the event a significant moment for community acknowledgment and celebration. The videos further elevated the prize's standing by spotlighting the stories of the honored changemakers, enhancing its reputation both in Brooklyn and beyond.
