Columbia University — DEAIJ Symposium
Viney played a pivotal role in supporting Columbia University’s DEIAJ Symposium by managing two significant graphic assets that contributed to the event’s visual presence and long-term impact.
The Program Booklet focused on creating a cohesive and visually compelling set of conference assets that seamlessly integrated with Columbia University’s established brand identity. This extensive work included designing the event program, stationery, and a variety of digital displays used throughout the conference venue. The designs not only adhered strictly to the university’s branding guidelines but also added a fresh and engaging visual appeal, enhancing the overall experience for attendees. The goal was to ensure that all materials, whether printed or digital, reflected the core values of diversity, equity, inclusion, accessibility, and justice (DEIAJ), while also setting a tone of professionalism and innovation.
The Symposium Report was centered around capturing the essence of the event and translating it into a detailed and comprehensive conference report. After participating in the symposium sessions, our team was responsible for documenting the critical discussions, keynotes, and panels. We carefully curated these insights to produce a report that not only highlighted the key moments and takeaways from the DEIAJ Symposium but also provided a thorough and engaging narrative of the event’s most significant topics. The report was meticulously designed to be visually appealing and easy to navigate, ensuring that readers, whether they were present at the event or not, could access and appreciate the depth and importance of the conversations held. This final document serves as a valuable resource for Columbia University, enabling them to share the outcomes of the symposium with a broader audience and reinforce their commitment to DEIAJ principles.
