New Play Initiative

The Viney Group partnered with Roundabout Theatre Company to create a compelling promotional/documentary video, celebrating Roundabout's 25+ years of supporting emerging playwrights and new works through the New Play Initiative, marking the 15th anniversary of Roundabout Underground.

In the pre-production phase, Viney Group engaged in detailed planning, including concept meetings, script development, treatment, storyboarding, casting, location scouting, and production scheduling. Their collaborative approach involved working closely with key stakeholders to align the vision of the video with the project's objectives.

The production took place in New York City and included eight days of filming subjects at site-specific locations. Post-production involved professional editing using Adobe Suite, including audio mixing, soundtrack selection, motion graphics enhancement, and creating a final cut prepared for both web delivery and TV broadcast.

By seamlessly blending creativity with technical expertise, Viney Group encapsulated the purpose, breadth, and impact of Roundabout's longstanding commitment to new talent, resulting in a visually captivating and emotionally resonant video that speaks to the heart of the initiative.
